1 The problem
The user clicked Format instead of Eject and only noticed when the drive showed up empty. The presentation and its supporting documents were needed the next morning.
They stopped using the drive immediately, which gave the recovery a very good chance.
2 What we found
The chip and connector were healthy. The drive only showed a blank file system, and a raw scan found the previous folder structure intact.
3 How we recovered it

4 The result
The presentation, spreadsheets and folders came back with their original names and structure, and the customer collected them the same day.
